About the event
Closed event – participation only by invitation
Young people in Africa are a diverse and dynamic group with a great potential to contribute to the growth and development of their communities and the continent at large. However, many young people in Africa are often excluded from participating in politics and civic life due to various challenges such as lack of access to education, limited economic opportunities, and a general lack of awareness of their rights and responsibilities as citizens. This program is developed to address these challenges and promote greater youth engagement in politics and civic life. The program aims to bring together at least twenty young people from different sectors each month to share their experiences and insights on various topics related to politics and civic engagement. The roundtable discussions will feature a guest young leader who will speak more on a specific field while relating it to other sectors. By sharing their experiences and insights, these young leaders will help to inspire and empower other young people to become more active and engaged citizens in their communities.
