Indonesia National Policy Dialogue (NPD) on Adolescent Health is a platform where adolescents- and youth-led organizations can advocate for change and voice out their opinions on the challenges and solutions regarding the three main topics that we focus on such as
1) Mental health
2)Teenage pregnancy, and child marriage
3) Interpersonal violence.
Policy dialogue involves discussions with 5 ministries to raise issues, share perspectives, find common ground, and reach agreement or consensus, if possible, on policy solutions. The dialogue will be based on the U-Report survey regarding adolescents' health, AY-led joint policy documents on Adolescent Health, and submitted oral statements by AY-led organizations.
As a follow-up plan to the dialogues, the Policy M&E committee will meet every 3 months to discuss internal and external use of the document including implementation of the coalition commitment and coalition advocacy effort, particularly on the implementation of RAN PIJAR and an annual celebration of adolescents' health and wellbeing-related topic.
