The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Population is hosting a virtual launch event for Take Action for Adolescents: A National Adolescent Health Action Plan.  

This is the first action plan focused on adolescent health and well-being in the U.S. and reflects the collaborative input of a large and diverse group of allies and partners.  It sets forth eight goals and accompanying action steps for policymakers, youth-serving professionals, advocates, and parents, guardians, and other caregivers. 

These goals and action steps are intended to serve as a catalyst for collaborative work across multiple youth-serving sectors. The launch event will feature presentations by HHS leadership and experts in adolescent health and well-being, including a roundtable of young people who were key partners in crafting the Action Plan.
