Youth Rise Up summit Theme: “What Young People Want .”
The 1.8: What Young People Want (WYPW) Campaign is a multi-pronged, multi-year advocacy campaign for adolescent wellbeing (AWB), coordinated by PMNCH. A major milestone of the campaign will be the Global Forum for Adolescents in October 2023, the world’s largest-ever gathering for adolescent well-being.
On the road to October 2023, several key moments will act as a drumbeat, engaging and uniting different audiences including young people, governments, civil society organizations and academia. These events will highlight key needs and gaps for commitments, engage champions, and build cross-sectoral partnerships and alliances to promote political commitments and country-level action toward adolescent well-being.
Implementation of this campaign implies identifying key concerns of adolescents around Adolescent Health and Wellbeing including but not exclusive to: good health and optimum nutrition; connectedness, positive values, and contribution to society.
