The Youth Health Fair will be an event hosted by the WeCare Youth Organization in partnership with other local non-governmental organizations and government institutions. This fair will bring together adolescents and young people to discuss and engage with each other and other decision-makers on their health priority areas.
It will also be a platform for interrogating the existing health and wellness policies that directly affect adolescents and young people and how they can be improved and enhanced to better meet health demands and needs. The capacity of adolescents and young people will also be strengthened and enhanced so that they can effectively take part in policy innovation, demand creation, and utilization of the available resources.
We are targeting 200 youths who are both in school or out of school within Kisumu County. We will have this event physically and also stream it virtually.
